License Plate Readers

I think this is a violation of a citizen’s right to privacy and should be stopped. It is clearly a violation of my right to privacy to not have my license plate scanned without some reasonable suspicion that I am breaking the law – the standard is there for a reason, to keep the government from encroaching on our lives.
