Police Make 49 Arrests During DWI Checkpoint

Lots of people will now need a Baton Rouge DWI attorney! According to the Advocate, on August 27, law enforcement made 49 arrest for DWI as a result of a checkpoint near downtown Baton Rouge. All of these arrests are likely the result of people leaving the Taste of Tiger Tailgating event which took place at the River Center. I can’t remember seeing a time where 49 arrests were made on one night for DWI or even close to that number.
