DNA Expert Examination

I spent last week in Baton Rouge and had an opportunity to cross-examine a DNA expert in a rape case in the 19th JDC. I have spent the last couple of years studying the DNA texts, mostly written by John Butler, and studying the secondary writings on STR DNA analysis, as well as mtDNA and ySTR DNA analysis.

Today I ordered copies of all of his texts, been reading them all on my Kindle, so I can put them on the table when I am crossing-examining an expert – I have yet to have an expert not refer to the “writings” on DNA, or the “texts” on DNA, to support their testimony, all of which were referring to Butler’s works. I love holding people accountable.
