Maeghen Kling is a criminal defense attorney with more than 4 years of rigorous courtroom
experience. As a former Assistant District Attorney for Ascension, Assumption and St. James
Parishes, Maeghen has a granular understanding of Louisiana's justice system. Having worked
in both felony and misdemeanor courts, as well as adult and juvenile courts, Maeghen is
committed to protecting your rights.
Personal Biography
Maeghen Kling was born in Forth Worth, Texas but spent most of her life in rural Southeast
Georgia. That love of the rugged outdoors has stuck with her in her love of hiking and all things
outdoors. Maeghen also loves spending time with her family, reading, and hanging out with her
beloved rescue pup, Polli.
Educational Biography
Maeghen graduated High School in Georgia and attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College
in Tifton Georgia. There, she was a journalist for four years while attaining her Business and
Journalism undergraduate degrees. Following in her grandfather's footsteps, it was always her
plan to attend law school. Maeghen is a proud graduate of Loyola University College of Law.
